Dark Lips
Dark lips are always a classic fall and winter look! As soon as the sun starts to take its hiatus, the vampy lips come out to play. You can’t go wrong with a dark lip- but this year is all about breaking some rules! Pair your dark lips with a dark eye, as seen on Valentino and others this year. I used my LiveGlam KissMe “Vixen” lippie from October for the perfect dark berry-tone to rock this look. Keep your secrets close and your makeup deep and dark!
No-Lip Lips
Try something outside the norm for your typical fall fashion with the ultra nude no-lip look! We’ve seen this look all over the runway, from Tome to Fenty, Versace, and more. The nude lips are making a falling into style this year for sure! To get this look, you can find your perfect nude lippie (be sure to check out our lippie club for inspo!) or you can do it DIY style. Use a little concealer or foundation and pat it into your lips with your fingers- be sure to exfoliate and moisturize!
The Messy Look
My favorite part about this trend is not having to worry about lip brushes, clean lines, or funky lip wands! This look had been rocked by Public School, Nicole Miller on the runway. Just grab one (or 2!) matching colors and apply by patting the color onto your lips with your fingers or a fluffy brush. Keep the edges soft in this look. If you wanna give it some dimension, dab a deeper color into the center! I used Nyx Soft Lip Cream in Morocco and a bit of Jeffree Starr Redrum in the center to recreate it. The Nyx lip cream blends super easily for this look!
Maroon Fly
If you wanna glam up your look with minimal effort involved (a win-win for sure) then bust out your Maroon lippies and keep your eyes naked! Just toss on a bit of mascara and a bold maroon lip for a lazy glam that looks perfect for Fall. La Perla rocked this look and we love it. Lazy day glams are the way to my heart, that’s for sure! I grabbed Couture from July KissMe colors for this trend!
Color Me Lipped
Graphic makeup looks have been popping up everywhere this season and we are not complaining! I love a good excuse to be creative and try something new in the makeup-sphere. These graphic trends are the perfect excuse to do something funky! I’ve seen bold blues, graphic lines, and artistic makeup applications and I had to try a quick and easy wearable graphic lip! I used Soulmate from November KissMe as a base. Then I grabbed some LimeCrime Diamond Crushers in Trip and Lit and had a little party on my lips. Because I love the graphic line looks I’ve seen in Chanel and Tome, I added some lines using LimeCrime Blue Flame. Check out more graphic lip looks using November KissMe colors here!
